On Wednesday, May 31 the Mexico Public Safety Department became aware of an incident that occurred at Hawthorne Heights, the Mexico High School track and football field, over the holiday weekend. It was determined that during the early morning hours of Monday, May 29, a male and female entered the concession stand building through an unlocked door and did a considerable amount of damage once they were inside. The two took candy and soda while there.
