Mexico hosted Marshall twice on Tuesday. The boys tennis and girls soccer teams each squared off with the North Central Missouri Conference foe, arriving at different results.
At Fairground Park, tennis defeated the Owls 5-4 despite being without four of its six varsity players due to sickness, injuries or prior engagements. Brendan McKeown and Declan Gleeson each won singles and doubles matches while Brixton Goerne doubled up on victories, earning his first ever varsity win in singles.
At Chris Hotop Field, the Lady Bulldogs endured the wind but couldn't muster much offense against Marshall, losing 4-0 to drop the program's eighth straight conference game spanning to last year.
