Mexico Public Safety is reporting a case is being prepared to be forwarded to the Audrain County Prosecuting Attorney for possible criminal charges after it was determined a fire at a self storage building in 500 block of South Clark Street was started by a person or people.
Seventeen storage units and their contents at Corner Storage, were damaged on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at around 4:09 am.
Mexico Public Safety and the Missouri State Fire Marshall's Office have been conducting the investigation. All of the storage units in that building received some sort of damage.
