On Mexico basketball's military appreciation night, when cadets from Missouri Military Academy performed before the girls varsity game, the boys and girls were each victorious against North Central Missouri Conference foe Marshall.
The Lady Bulldogs outscored Marshall 34-22 in the second half, behind 20 total points from Claire Hudson, to win 54-46. The Bulldogs battered the Owls 53-23 in the second half, led by 23 total points from DJ Long and five second-half 3-pointers from freshman Kaden Benne, to win 75-46.
