Mexico United Credit Union raises one thousand dollars for the United Way of Audrain County

Posted

The United Credit  Union of Mexico presented a one thousand dollar check to the Audrain County United Way this (Wednesday) morning.

Marketing Coordinator Gabriel Jones and Marketing Assistant Kiki Long presented the  check to Audrain County United Way Board Chairwoman Bethany Collins.

The United Credit Union held a company picnic earlier this month and had a pie throwing booth and charged five dollars per pie and then the employee was allowed to throw it in their managers face. $495.00  was raised at the company picnic. United Credit Union then matched the money and made it an even $1,000.

The Audrain County United Way is raising money through out the month of October for  several area organizations like the Help Center, ACCIS and the Mexico Senior Center just to name a few.
