Michael Wayne O’Connor, age 67, of Auxvasse, passed away at University Hospital in Columbia on Monday, October 9, 2023.
He was born June 26, 1956, to the late Clarence O’Connor and the late Ada (Cuno) Long.
Mike was an outdoorsman that enjoyed tinkering, fishing, bow hunting, and playing with his dog Bently. He also enjoyed filling out surveys and watching westerns.
Those left to treasure his memory are his children, Kristin Veazey (Michael), Joe O’Connor (Janna), and Julie Barnes (Harley); brothers, Donnie O’Connor and Clarence Eugene “Gene” O’Connor; sisters, Shirley “Susie” Buckhead (Carl), Brenda Horton (Thomas), and Angie Walker (Rick); twelve grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by one son, Zachery O’Connor and one sister, Linda Brewer.
