Mexico Public Safety is reminding everyone that on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at 10:00 am, Missouri will conduct its statewide tornado drill as part of Severe Weather Preparedness Week. At that time, any NOAA weather radios set to receive the weekly tests will sound. As part of the drill, the Mexico outdoor warning sirens will also sound at that time.
The National Weather Service encourages everyone to consider what they would do in the event of severe weather and encourages businesses and schools to take this time to review their procedures.
