Morjorie Ann Evans Fry, 75, formerly of Laddonia, died Sept. 30, 2021 after an extended illness.
Morjorie was born March 5, 1946 in Mexico. Her parents were Virginia Garnett Evans and Norval McCune Evans of Laddonia.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Della Fern Britton; brothers, Charles Evans, Stanley Lee Evans and Bobby Gale Evans.
She is survived by daughter, Crystal Townsend; two grandsons, Thomas Townsend, Zack Crooker; and three great-grandchildren. Other surviving family members include brother, Butch (Marilyn) Evans, of Laddonia; sister, Tammy Purvis; and sisters-in-law, Joy Evans and Bonnie Evans Russell.
After graduation from Community R-6 High School in 1965, Morjorie relocated to the Tucson, Ariz. area. She was married to John E. Fry of Arizona.
Morjorie was a friendly and happy person who always saw the best in people. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
