On Wednesday, Oct. 11, at approximately 2:53 p.m., Mexico Public Safety Department (MPSD) responded to Jubel Drive in reference to a disturbance involving a man chasing others with a gun. Investigation led to the arrest of Trey Keith, age 26 of Mexico. Keith was processed at MPSD and later taken to the Audrain County Jail for fourth degree assault, unlawful use of weapon, and unlawful possession of a weapon. There were no injuries from the incident.

Residents are reminded that people arrested or charged with a crime are simply accused of that crime and are to be considered innocent until proven guilty.
