Mrs. Geraldine Fitzpatrick, 94, Mexico, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at Boone Hospital, in Columbia. She was born Friday, September 20, 1929 in Shelbina, a daughter of the late Tom and Dona (Wright) Jenkins. On Sunday, October 28, 1945 she was united in marriage to the late Johnnie Neal Fitzpatrick in Shelby County.
Mrs. Fitzpatrick was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Mexico.
She is survived by two sons: Steven N. Fitzpatrick of Mexico, Dennis A. Fitzpatrick (Wilma) of Jefferson City; sister in law: Phyllis Sanders (Delbert) of Mexico.
Funeral services were held Saturday, December 9, at the First Baptist Church of Mexico with Pastor Joseph Pike officiating. Visitation was held prior to the service at the church. Interment followed in the Shelbina Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the First Baptist Church of Mexico.
