Nancy Lynn Griffith (nee LaBanca), of Old Monroe, passed away Friday, May 24, 2024, at the age of 66. Beloved wife of 43 years to Chris Griffith; cherished daughter of Helen LaBanca and the late Donald LaBanca; devoted mother of Ben (Jessica) Griffith and Heather (Daniel Powell) Griffith; loving grandmother of Evelyn Griffith, Brayden Griffith, Alice Griffith and Maelie Laramie; dear sister of David (Kay) LaBanca, Sue (Terry) Crump, Tom (Mary) LaBanca, Neal (Diane) LaBanca, and the late Connie (Mike) Jones; and sister-in-law of Bonnie (Paul) Williams. Nancy is also survived by her beloved four-legged companions, Callie and Ginger who she adored.
Nancy was a loving mother and grandmother, who would always say it like it was and often offered advice. She was driven and always looked at learning a new skill. Nancy had a passion for crafting, sewing, and quilting, spending countless hours creating beautiful pieces. Her quilts and lovingly made crafts brought joy to her family and friends. Nancy enjoyed her time outdoors, camping and horseback riding. Most of all, she cherished the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. Nancy was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
