In Mexico’s first home meet, North Callaway emerged as the winner.
North Callaway finished with a 173 to beat Macon’s 209 and Mexico’s 211 in the April 8 meet at Arthur Hills in Mexico. Ajay Roberts won the individual prize for North Callaway by shooting a 38 and was followed by Anthony Russell’s 41 in second and Austin Brown’s 45 in third.
Mac Haag was Mexico’s best golfer in fourth place with a score of 47. Ethan Johnson followed in fifth with a score of 48. Karson Rowe and Houston Crow each shot a 55 to tie for 17th, Landon Johannaber was 16th with a 54, and Kyler Benne was 21st with a 57.
Caden Teel and Vince Houchins each finished seventh for North Callaway with a 49. Steven Powers was 10th with a 50, Noah Baumgartner was 14th with a 53 and Mason Hudson was 23rd with a 59. Hayden Fansler, Jeremiah Baumgartner and Jake Blevins were each 25th with a 61.
