Senior night wasn't special to Riley Blevins on Monday night just because this is her final high school season. The North Callaway standout, and former Mexico Lady Bulldog, scored her 1,000th career point in the Ladybirds' 71-27 win over Eastern Missouri Conference foe Wright City.

Blevins finished with 28 points, nine rebounds and five assists and had 16 points in the first quarter, quickly surpassing the 11 points needed for her to reach the milestone.

All five seniors -- Blevins, Abrielle Burgher, Lauren Riecke, Pressley Schmauch and Corynne Miller -- were in the starting lineup and contributed in the victory. Burgher had seven points and 10 rebounds and each helped the Ladybirds (16-7, 6-2 EMO) tally 50 rebounds against the Lady Wildcats (6-13, 0-5 EMO).

Lakyn Hartley took over the game in the third quarter, scoring 13 of her 18 points to along with eight rebounds.
