For Dr. Anne Billington, McMillan Early Learning Center principal, the evening of April 24 was perfect.
McMillan Early Learning Center hosted the annual PTO Carnival Friday and there was plenty to do between the inflatable bounce house, yard games, fresh popcorn and balloon animals.
“We were very nervous at the very beginning of the day because of the forecast, but we feel like we’ve been very blessed with the perfect weather, perfect crowd, and it’s just awesome to see everybody come together and have fun,” Billington said.
With so much going on, Billington said she was grateful for McMillan’s partnership with Missouri Military Academy. Cadets were there to help facilitate the games and keep the party going.
“Those young men came in at one o’clock this afternoon, started helping us and they’ve been pitching in and they’ll stay until the very last second,” Billington said.
