Weather permitting, as early as the week of May 28, resurfacing work will begin on 16.8-miles of Route F in Audrain and Ralls counties, from Missouri Route 19 to North of Daniels Avenue near Vandalia.

Motorists can expect delays as traffic will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction in place where crews are actively working. Flaggers and a pilot car will be used to direct traffic through the work zone. For the safety of the crews and the traveling public, we would like to remind drivers to be attentive in work zones and put down your cell phones to eliminate distractions. All work is weather dependent, and schedules are subject to change.

The $4.7M contract, awarded this last year to Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc. of Columbia. The contract includes four additional resurfacing projects in Audrain, Marion and Ralls counties which are scheduled to be completed by late summer:

Route 79 (Marion) - Resurface from 0.3 mile south of the I-72 interchange to 0.5 mile north of Route T in Hannibal (Complete)

Route A (Ralls) - Seal coat and resurface from Route J to Business 61 in New London (15.75 miles). (Tentatively scheduled for late June)

Route T (Marion/Ralls) – Resurface from 0.8 mile south of Route 79 in Hannibal to Route V (7.7 miles). (Complete)

Route V (Ralls) – Resurface from Business 61 in New London to Route T (4.4 miles). (In Progress)

Please remember to obey all work zone signs and personnel.
