Robert “Rob” Edward Hudson, 35, of Mexico, passed away on Friday, April 28, 2023, at his home.

 

Funeral Services will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2, at Arnold Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Jones and Rev. Bob Stanford officiating. Burial will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park.

 

Visitation is Tuesday from 11 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.

 

Rob was born on September 27, 1987, in Mexico, the son of Tommy Edward and Cheryl Ann (Hall) Hudson. He was a 2006 graduate of Mexico High School, obtained his Associate’s degree from Moberly Area Community College in May of 2009 and received his bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology from Columbia College on December 17, 2011.

 

Rob was a great researcher. He researched anything and everything, especially trips and his family’s special interests. He was a car enthusiast and loved going to many car shows, where he met many people over the years. Rob was a collector, most notably Hot Rod magazines, old antique signs and Route 66 signs, which he had every sign from Illinois to California.

 

Survivors include his father, Tommy Hudson of Mexico; two sisters, Melisa (Mike) Ahrens of Mexico and Melinda Hudson of Mexico; two nieces, Kaylee (Colin) Paffrath of Moberly and Kerrie (Josh) Riley of Kansas City; one great-nephew, Maxwell Paffrath of Moberly; one great-niece, Harper Paffrath of Moberly; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

 

Rob was preceded in death by his mother, Cheryl Ann Hudson; and his grandparents, Robert and Dixie Hall, and Ralph and Ethel Hudson.
