Ronnie Ray Doyle, 80 of Manchester, MO died on May 3, 2023.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2023, 2 p.m. at Agnew funeral in Paris, MO. Visitation will be from 12:30 to until time of service on Thursday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Sunset Hills cemetery in Madison.

Ronnie was born October 26, 1942, in Moberly, the son of Raymond and Vera Doyle of Madison. Survivors include a daughter Amy Doyle, grandson Jordan Doyle, and former wife Anita Doyle. Cousin Suzanne Short and special friends Tommy and Marva Johnston of Madison and other friends in Madison and St. Louis areas.

His mother and father preceded him in death.

He graduated from Madison High School in 1960, attended Moberly Jr. College and St. Louis Technical College, served two years in the U.S. Army at Walter Reed Army Hospital in Washington, D.C. and Fort Wainwright, Fairbanks, Alaska where he learned computer programming and reached the rank of Specialist E5 in less than two years and received the Certificate of Achievement award for exceptional devotion to duty and meritorious service in computer programming.

He worked at Bersted Manufacturing in Moberly, for 1 year and Wetterau food services in Mexico, for 3 years before entering the Army, then after his army service he worked for A.P. Green Refractories in Mexico, and Chesterfield for 23 years, starting as a Computer Programmer and working his way up to Computer Services Manager. He then worked in the SSM Health Business's Information Center in Clayton for 12 years before health problems forced him to take early retirement in 2002.

Ronnie enjoyed auctions, garage sales, woodworking, fishing, surfing the net, all animals, especially dogs and working on the family farm near Madison.

He was a past president of the Data Processing Management Association.

He was a member of the Centennial Baptist Church in Mexico, Mo.

Memorials may be made to The Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation for spinal cord injury research.
