Russell Eugene Boswell, 88 of Mexico, formerly of Centralia, passed away Wednesday March 1, 2023 at the University Hospital in Columbia.
Services will be announced at a later date.
Russell was born on April 18, 1934, in Audrain County, the son of Virgil Price and Myrtle (Earl) Boswell.
On September 12, 1959, Russell married Darlene Durham, and she survives.
Along with his wife, Darlene, Russell is survived by his sons, Troy Boswell of Mexico, Michael Boswell of Montgomery City, a daughter, Tami Benus and husband Randy Thomas of Fulton; grandchildren, Le’Anna Boswell, Ellis Benus, and Michelle Boswell.
Russell was preceded in death by his parents.
Russell worked many years for Forrest Chevrolet as a car detailer and driver. Russell enjoyed fishing and driving, he could drive anywhere without ever relying on a map.
