The Southside Christian Academy (SCA) Board of Education reports that the school had a successful first semester and it is eyeing a bright ongoing second semester. 

“We are excited about the amount of growth,” said a spokesperson, “not just academically but spiritually, that we have seen in our students this year.”

With that, SCA has been looking at changes for next year and how the school can continue to grow God’s mission and ministry. For the 2024-25 school year, the board will continue to offer grades K-5 and open enrollment to the public  is now underway,having started Feb. 15. 

Tuition costs will remain at $3,950 for the year plus the cost of student curriculum. A $150 application fee will still be required and applied toward the cost of tuition. 

“We have recognized a need for expansion into sixth grade,” said the spokesperson. “Through fervent prayer and consideration, we feel we have come up with a solution that best meets the needs of SCA and our current SCA families”

SCA will be offering sixth grade as a closed enrollment and/or case-by-case basis. Anyone with a child enrolling in SCA that is in any grade K-5 who has another child that will be in the sixth grade will be allowed to enroll their child into the sixth grade with SCA. Board members are happy with the response thus far and appreciate all the kind words.
