North Callaway hadn't scored a run against Eastern Missouri Conference foe Wright City in the last three meetings, spanning five years. The Thunderbirds did that and more on Thursday night at home as they won 8-3, scoring five runs in the sixth inning.
Matthew Weber finished 3-for-4 with two RBI, Sam Pezold had three RBI and Jordan Fishburn drew three of North Callaway's 10 walks.
AJ Haubner allowed three earned runs on five hits in five innings while allowing only one walk.
