North Callaway turned in a solid performance in Bowling Green Tuesday, finishing third overall at BGHS’s mini medal meet. En route to the finish, the Thunderbirds received stand-out performances.
Trinity Brush was tops in the discus throw, with a distance of 100’5” and the 4x100 team of Corynne Miller, Kyanne Kellerman, Taylor Head and Mackenzie Eaker took first with a time of 55.14. Pressley Schmauch won the 3200 meter run clocking in at 12:41.23. Ryelle Schmauch finished second in the pole vault, clearing a height of 7’10.5” and the 4x800 meter relay team of Pressley Schmauch, Kaleigh Moore, Rachael Jeffries and Piper Jeffries took second with a time of 11:05.40.
Other contributors include Jalyn Leible, eighth, long jump, 13’2 ¼”; Leible, fifth, triple jump, 29’4”; Ellie Bedsworth, third, shot put, 32’0.75”’; Hayley Kimbley, sixth, javelin, 84’; Bedsworth, eighth, javelin, 77’9”; Makenna Allen, fourth, 100 meter hurdles, 19.10; Corynne Miller, seventh, 100 meter dash, 14.36; 4x200 meter relay (Miller, Leible, Kyanne Kellerman, Mackenzie Eaker), fifth, 2:00.81; Pressley Schmauch, third, 1600 meter run, 5:50.39; Rachael Jeffries, fifth, 800 meter run, 2:47.15; Head, fourth, 200 meter dash, 29.18; and Kaleigh Moore, fourth, 3200 meter run, 13:21.23.
The Thunderbird girls took third as a team with a collective score of 95.
