As the sun went down and the night grew cold, something spooky was in the air. Trick or Treaters took to the streets Thursday night in search of Halloween goodies which were abundant from W. Teal Lake to Monroe St. Halloween night in town started early at the Mexico First Church of Nazarene Trunk or Treat. A little further up the road, Mexico Village Square was crawling with princesses, dinosaurs and everything in between. Candy lovers young and old visited the local businesses who lined the square with their trunks and booths decorated to the nines, accepting candy and other goodies in exchange for smiles at the annual Trunk or Treat.
