Ted and Dr. Treena DeVault were awarded the Dale H. Schnarre Rural Citizens Award at the 51st annual Agriculture Appreciation Dinner, hosted by Audrain Agribusiness banquet.
The evening highlighted the dedication of rural farmers and agriculture supporters in the community. Before dinner, which was provided by Nite Owls of Wellsville, Matt Van Schyndel led the invocation. Matt Amick, director of market development for the Missouri Soybean Association, was the evening's featured speaker. He discussed challenges many in the agriculture industry face and offered potential solutions. Amick also serves as the executive director for the Biodiesel Coalition of Missouri.
