On Friday night, the Van-Far basketball teams dropped a couple of varsity contests at Eastern Missouri Conference foe Bowling Green. The girls lost 56-43, led by 15 points and eight rebounds from Mara Jensen. The boys' late comeback fell short 60-58, despite 23 points, 13 rebounds and six steals from Nikos Connaway.
