Members of VFW Post & Auxiliary 3772 have been collecting a variety of items for Veterans including simple crafts, toiletries, envelopes and stamps.
Due to the generosity of the Post and Auxiliary members as well community members, they were able to drop off a large donation.
They are still looking to collect these items to donate to the veterans home: lotion, stamps, hair brushes, lip balm, disposable razors (men and womens), stick deodorant, envelopes and writing tablets, simple wood/painting kits, sweat pants, shirts, and white t-shirts in all sizes.
Items can be taken to the post located at 2100 N. Jefferson St., Mexico or contact an Auxiliary member to make arrangements.
