Centralia continued to dominate its Clarence Cannon Conference schedule.
In their third conference victory scoring double-digits and second straight conference shutout, the Panthers defeated South Shelby 12-0 in five innings on Thursday. Centralia (7-5, 3-0 CCC) then lost 6-5 in 10 innings to Eldon on Saturday.
Centralia scored seven runs in the fourth inning against South Shelby (2-6, 0-1 CCC). Chase Kempker went 2-for-2 with three runs and one RBI, Anthony Ford hit a two-RBI home run, and Chase Chancellor and Henry Bohlmeyer each had two RBIs. Hank Lee pitched five innings with six strikeouts, two walks and one hit.
Centralia had a 3-1 lead at Eldon (7-5) before the Mustangs tied the game to send it into extra innings. Bohlmeyer went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and a double, Luke Waltemate finished 2-for-5 with a double and Ford went 2-for-4. Kempker went 2-for-5 and pitched six innings with five hits, three walks, one run and one strikeout.
Centralia hosts conference foe Macon (8-5, 2-0 CCC) at 5 p.m. tonight.
