While Centralia regressed this season, the Lady Panthers still accomplished much.
The Lady Panthers won 13 games to clinch their fifth straight season with double-digit victories while winning the Eastern Missouri Conference championship in their first season back in the conference since 2019. They had four earn postseason awards including first team all-conference seasons from Ryenn Gordon and Caris Finlay, second team all-conference from Madilynn Hunter and Lexi England and second team all-district for Gordon and Finlay.
Gordon broke the school records for kills in a match with 27 and kills in a season with 366, which is 18 away from breaking career kills record. She finished with 290 digs and a serving percentage of 87.3.
Finlay broke the school record for assists in a match three times this season, until arriving at 42, and assists in a season with 607. She had 291 digs and was the best server on the team with a 92.5 serving percentage.
Hunter led the team with 315 digs and was second with a 87.7 serving percentage and 34 service aces.
“Madilynn had a great season especially considering she missed all summer practice and games due to her recovery from knee surgery,” head coach Julie Crum said.
England was second on the team with 303 digs as the senior libero after not recording any time on the court last season as a libero.
