Community R-6 23 Marion County 3 in Philadelphia
Community finished with 18 hits. Jocelyn Curtis (four innings, six strikeouts, six hits, three earned runs) 3-for-4 with five RBI and a double, Braelyn Kuda 3-for-3 with two RBI, Myla Carroll 2-for-4 with two RBI, Amy McCurdy 3-for-3 with four runs and two doubles, and Chloe Johnson and Rylee Rafferty two RBI each.
Class 1 No. 8 Community (19-10) and Marion County (5-11). Community at Class 2 No. 9 Elsberry (21-8) at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
Bowling Green 3 North Callaway 1 in Bowling Green
North Callaway finished with two hits and 12 strikeouts against Sydney Charlton. Megan Schmidt pitched seven innings with nine strikeouts and six hits. The Ladybirds stole their 36th consecutive base to tie the school-record streak set last season. Liv Knoepflein stole the base after taking a walk and had one of two North Callaway hits along with Kymorie Myers.
North Callaway (20-12, 7-3 EMO) and Bowling Green (11-11, 7-3 EMO). North Callaway is the No. 5 seed in the Class 3 District 4 tournament and faces No. 4 seed Fulton (17-8) at 7 p.m. Oct. 16 at Southern Boone.
Clopton 8 Van-Far 0 in Vandalia
Van-Far finishes with three hits and seven errors, which allowed seven unearned runs. Dalana Gay allowed one earned run on six hits and six walks while striking out 11 in seven innings. Elliott Utterback had a double. Ashlyn Noah struck out 14 Lady Indians.
Van-Far (4-18, 1-9 EMO) and Clopton (12-10, 4-6 EMO). The Lady Indians are the No. 4 seed in the Class 2 District 2 tournament and will face No. 5 seed Valley Park (6-10-1) at 5 p.m. Oct. 17 at Montgomery County.
Centralia 10 Palmyra 0 in Centralia
Centralia finishes a perfect 6-0 Clarence Cannon Conference record for its second straight perfect conference championship season. The Lady Panthers outscored their conference opponents 60-4 in those games. Cora King 2-for-3 with two RBI, a home run and a double, Ealynne Bostick 2-for-3 with two RBI and a double, Jaylynn Brown (five innings, 15 strikeouts, one hit and one walk) 2-for-3 with a RBI and a double, Bailey Schuering with two RBI, and Tilly Fox 2-for-3 with three runs and a RBI.
Class 3 No. 1 Centralia (23-3) and Palmyra (3-23, 1-5 CCC) The Lady Panthers play their regular season finale at 5 p.m. Monday at Bowling Green (11-11).
Paris 10 Sturgeon 1 in Sturgeon
Paris finishes with 15 hits, including six extra-base hits. Sophia Crusha 3-for-4 with two RBI, Kennedy Ashenfelter 2-for-4 with two RBI, and Reese Sutton 2-for-4 with one RBI, a triple and a double. Ava Crain seven innings, 11 strikeouts, five hits and one earned run (2-for-4 with a double).
Class 1 No. 9 Paris (19-6) and Sturgeon (3-17). The Lady Coyotes are the No. 1 seed in the Class 1 District 4 tournament and will face the winner of No. 8 Marion County and No. 9 Wellsville-Middletown at 4 p.m. Oct. 17 at Community R-6.

Class 1 No. 5 MMA (9-4) defeats district foe Canton (0-10) and will host Southern Boone (11-4) at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
Volleyball
Southern Boone 3 Mexico 0 (25-20, 25-6, 25-11) in Ashland
Mexico (10-9) loses to Southern Boone (14-1-1) and plays at 6 p.m. Monday at Warrenton (2-13).
