North Callaway 42 Class 1 No. 6 Van-Far 22 in Kingdom City for North Callaway Senior Night
North Callaway (7-1) scored 14 points in the final four minutes of the first half, including one touchdown that followed a fumble recovery on a kickoff. Jaiden Galbreath eclipsed 1,000 rushing yards for the season with 187 yards and two touchdowns on 24 carries, and Collin Moore added 101 yards on 14 carries for 326 yards on the ground for the Thunderbirds.
For Van-Far (6-2), Tyson Douglas ran for 140 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries, and Gaven Gaston caught seven passed for 90 yards and a touchdown.
North Callaway plays at Eastern Missouri Conference foe Wright City (4-4) next Friday to close the regular season whole Van-Far hosts Scotland County (4-4) on Thursday.
Mexico 39 Moberly 20 in Moberly
Mexico (4-4) defeats North Central Missouri Conference foe Moberly (2-6) for first time in three tries. The Bulldogs had rushing touchdowns by Hunter Cuno and Drew DeMint. Peyton Hoover returned an interception for a touchdown to make it 26-7 Mexico in the second half.
Mexico hosts Class 5 MICDS (6-2) next week.
Class 2 RV Centralia 44 Palmyra 12 in Centralia
Centralia (6-2) has won four straight games this season and four straight against Clarence Cannon Conference foe Palmyra (3-5). At halftime, Centralia led 14-6 and then 30-6 after three.
Centralia hosts Class 4 No. 3 Kirksville (8-0) next week.
