Terra L. Hannon, 46, of Mexico and an 8-year-old juvenile sustained minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident Monday that occurred at 6;15 a.m. on Route DD .1 miles south of Route D in Audrain County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when the northbound 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer, driven by Hannon, traveled off the right side of the roadway. She overcorrected and traveled off the left side of the roadway and the vehicle overturned.
The vehicle was totaled and had to be towed from the scene; Hannon and the juvenile were taken to University Hospital by ambulance.
