The Miss Missouri and Miss Missouri Teen competitions began last Sunday, June 12, with the arrival of the Miss Missouri Pageant local title holders and the teens the following day. Every day of Miss Missouri week local groups and clubs took turns hosting the girls for lunch and the ladies were a featured part of the pageant’s golf tournament. A few years ago the pageant scrapped the parade held on the morning of the Miss Missouri’s final but have since switched to a meet and greet that was held on the Mexico Square.
