As reported in the Saturday Ledger, work has begun as the Mexico and Fulton hospitals transition to new owners. As they do, the region is optimistic about their future.
Platinum Team Management, a hospital and medical management company, has announced an agreement to assume control of two Missouri hospitals, Audrain Community Hospital, Mexico and Callaway Community Hospital, Fulton, along with nine medical clinics from Noble Health.
The facilities were temporarily closed on March 25 and Platinum will begin the process of reopening as soon as possible.
Platinum team members are on site this week as the transition progresses, but no definitive opening plans have been announced.
Under the leadership of Platinum Hospitals, they plan to rework operations, revitalize the facilities, provide sound medical management and innovation. This will allow both Audrain and Callaway facilities to continue their mission providing high-quality healthcare to the region.
