The Bulldogs then lost 6-4 in eight innings for their first conference loss of the season and first loss in six games. They overtook Hannibal 4-2 in the sixth inning after allowing two runs in the first inning. Brady Fox's grounder brought home two runs to tie the game and then Colton Dickey's two-RBI single gave Mexico (6-4, 1-1 NCMC) the lead. Hannibal (3-6, 1-1 NCMC) was hot at the plate late in the game with seven of its 10 hits in the final two innings while Mexico's final seven batters were retired. Kaden Benne pitched six innings for Mexico with five hits, four earned runs, four strikeouts and two walks.
