Right of the bat, Community R-6 looked like it would be dominant on Thursday night at home.
A pitch off Nik Crider's bat was sent over the fence for his first home run this year to give the Trojans a 3-0 lead in the first inning, they scored seven runs in the inning and then won 15-0 in three innings against district foe Marion County (0-3). Community (3-1) has won all three games so far against district opponents. Crider finished with four RBIs to lead the team, Lane Carter had two RBIs and one double, and Kaiden Erdel, Connor Maxwell and Houston Hogan each had two RBIs. Cooper Rohan pitched three innings with six strikeouts and two hits.
Community plays three games in three days starting at 5 p.m. Monday at Bowling Green (1-1).
