Mexico High School senior Kaiden Jennings' interest in bowling is paying off. He recently signed his Letter of Intent to continue his academic and bowling career at Iowa Western. Kaiden did not spare any details telling the Mexico Ledger that he comes from a bowling family.
"My grandpa Kevin Duncan, is a pro bowler. I went to many of his tournaments to watch him bowl," said Jennings.
Kaiden is still in search of the perfect game which is a 300. He says his best game so far is a 285 and averages 200-215 depending on which bowling alley he is at. Kaiden does most of his bowling at the Fulton Bowling Alley.
"it's a mental game and you have to be in the right state of mind. If you mess up, you have to keep going. The best advice I could give to someone taking up bowling is practice, practice, and more practice."
Kaiden is planning on majoring in special education while attending Iowa Western. He is the grandson of Kevin and Krista Duncan of Mexico.
