Paris boys earn consolation with 49-36 win vs Carrollton

The Paris boys’ defense made sure they closed the Salisbury Invitational strong on Friday.

Coyotes' defense manages Meadville 47-34

Evan Smothers led Paris (5-6) with 13 points and four rebounds, Mason Edwards followed with 12 points and four assists, Alex Williams had eight points and eight rebounds, and Walter Rucker finished with six rebounds.

Sutton, Lady Coyotes' shooting not enough in 43-35 loss to Carrollton

The Paris girls’ shooting kept them in their Salisbury Invitational Tournament game on Wednesday but wasn’t enough.
