Randy Curtis, 33, turned himself in at the Mexico Public Safety Department on Sept. 28 for his alleged involvement in an incident ten days earlier.
The next afternoon, MPSD officers and deputies from the Audrain County Sheriff’s Office arrested Kareem Phillips-Bey, 30, in the 900 block of Vance Road.
On Saturday, Sept. 18, MPSD learned of a disturbance involving gunfire in the 1000 block of Buchanan Street. One person received minor injuries.
Curtis was processed and taken to the Audrain County Jail for various charges. Phillips-Bey had outstanding warrants out of Callaway and Greene Counties and is believed to have been involved in the disturbance as well.
The investigation is ongoing.
