The Lady Indians did it again on Monday in a 19-4 win at Marion County (1-10) for their first 19-run performance since a 19-9 win against Wellsville-Middletown. Van-Far (5-16) finished with 10 hits for its third win in five games.
Van-Far scored nine of its runs in the seventh inning. Kylie Dameron led by going 3-for-3 with three RBIs and a double, Kylee Gibson was 3-for-4 with three RBIs and a double, Taelyn Ward went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and a triple, and Ashlyn Marshall and Adrianna Craven each had two RBIs.
Adyson Barnett pitched 5⅔ innings with six strikeouts, four hits, three earned runs and three walks. Craven pitched 1⅓ hitless innings.
Van-Far plays at South Callaway (8-12) at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
