Centralia played games on its home fields for the first time this summer.
The Lady Panthers hosted the first day of a packed summer schedule on Tuesday at Bicentennial Park. The varsity team won four games and played to one tie while the junior varsity squad went 3-1.
Centralia has another day of its home camp tomorrow. Varsity plays Cairo at 9 a.m. at Bicentennial West field, Smith-Cotton at 11:30 a.m. at West field, Glasgow at 12:45 p.m. at West field, and Marceline at 4:30 p.m. at West field. Junior varsity plays Glasgow at 9 a.m. at City Park South, Silex at 12:45 p.m. at City Park South, Monroe City at 2 p.m. at Bicentennial East field, and Cairo at 3:15 p.m. at Bicentennial West field.
After that, the Lady Panthers host another camp next Tuesday and Wednesday and another in the third week of July.
