Community R-6 had several at all-conference levels and some even at record-breaking levels on Wednesday.
The Trojans and Lady Trojans competed in the Central Activities Conference track meet at Glasgow, picking up nine all-conference nods. The girls 4x800 relay team of Peyton Schafer, Lydia Hoyt, Kat Meyer and Alyssa Beamer set a new school record with its first-place time of 11:57.98.
The boys 4x800 team of Mason Rohan, Brett Beamer, Houston Hogan, Nicholas Henke finished third to be a CAC honorable mention but also set a school record with a time of 10:39.47. Grace McCoskey’s fifth-place finish in the girls 3200 wasn’t enough for all-conference but set a school record with a time of 18:20.25.
The other Lady Trojan all-CAC finishes include Alyssa Beamer’s third place in the 800 to be an honorable mention, Adriana Woodson’s second place in the 100 hurdles to be second team all-CAC, the third place by the 4x400 relay team of Meyer, Chloe Johnson, Hoyt and Beamer, and Johnson’s second place in the javelin.
The other Trojan all-CAC finishes include Caden Thomas’ third-place in the 300 hurdles, the third place by the 4x100 relay team of Lane Carter, Mason Carroll, Thomas and Aaron Carter, and the third place by the 4x400 relay team of Thomas, Aaron Carter, Mason Rohan and Lane Carter.
The Lady Trojans were fifth as a team with 70 points, and the Trojans were fifth with 54 points.
