The Trojans and Lady Trojans each hosted Mark Twain on Nov. 2 and then Silex on Nov. 3.
The boys' took advantage of their home court and dominated the visiting Tigers with a victory of 43-21. Between two evenly-matched teams in the Trojans and Silex, the lead was kept and shared back and forth between the first half, but ultimately, the Trojans pulled ahead in the second half and won 41-16. Community led 10-4 after one quarter, 21-13 at halftime and then 28-16 after three quarters.
The Lady Trojans fought hard but could not pull out a win against Mark Twain and then hosted the Silex the next day in the new gym. In spite of a lot of determination, the Lady Trojans fell short, with the Owls defeating the girls' team 45-13.
