The victory gave Van-Far its second Farmers' Cup win, after Mark Twain took an 8-1 record in the rivalry matchup into Friday night, and first winning regular-season record since 2004. The defense collected six sacks and five stops on fourth down to give the offense plenty of breathing room. Nikos Connaway ran for a 63-yard touchdown and connected with Gaven Gaston on a 54-yard touchdown passing play in the first half and then hit Gage Gibson for a 10-yard touchdown pass in the second half. The Tigers didn't score until the final minute on a 30-yard run by Eli Tobin.
