Class 1 No. 8 Van-Far 24 Louisiana 0 in Vandalia

Van-Far improved to 3-0 with a victory on Senior Night against Eastern Missouri Conference foe Louisiana (0-2).

The Indians had a 16-0 halftime lead after a 56-yard touchdown run by Malik Douglas on the first play of the game and following a fumble recovery by Evan Utterback in the end zone not long before halftime. Reece Culwell connected with Carson Huff on a three-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter. The Van-Far defense finished with its first shutout of the season after recovering four Louisiana fumbles.

Van-Far plays at Mark Twain (1-2) next week to defend the Farmers Cup.

Odessa 38 Mexico 14 in Odessa

Mexico, who received votes in Class 4's latest state poll, goes to 1-2 while Odessa moves to 2-1. Mexico hosts North Central Missouri Conference foe Marshall (0-3) for Homecoming next week.

North Callaway 30 Montgomery County 18 in Kingdom City

North Callaway improves to 3-0 while Montgomery County falls to 0-3.  The Thunderbirds host Class 2 No. 3 Bowling Green (3-0) next week.

Centralia 44 Clark County 8 in Kahoka

Centralia goes to 2-1 while Clark County falls to 0-3. The Panthers host Monroe City (1-2) next week.

Veritas Christian HS 19 Missouri Military Academy 12 in Mexico

Missouri Military Academy falls to 0-2 while Veritas Christian improves to 1-1. MMA hosts Linn (0-2) next week.

8-Man Football: No. 3 Braymer with Breckenridge 63 Paris 38 in Braymer

Paris falls to 2-1 while Braymer improves to 3-0. The Coyotes host Northland Christian (1-1) next week.
