Van-Far 34 Montgomery County 7 in Vandalia for Homecoming

Class 1 No. 6 Van-Far surged out to a 28-0 halftime lead over its Eastern Missouri Conference foe thanks to rushing touchdowns from senior twins Malik and Tyson Douglas, a 32-yard receiving touchdown by Evan Utterback and a 74-yard interception return for a touchdown by Gaven Gaston. Tyson Douglas ran for 143 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries, Gaston had two interceptions and Utterback finished with four tackles and a sack.

Van-Far (5-0) hosts conference foe and Class 2 No. 2 Bowling Green (5-0) next week.

Hannibal 40 Mexico 0 in Hannibal

Mexico lost to Class 4 No. 4 Hannibal (3-2) for the eighth straight time and was shut out for the second time this season.

Mexico (2-3) hosts conference rival Fulton (0-5) next week.

North Callaway 18 Palmyra 12 in Palmyra 

North Callaway defeated Palmyra (3-2) for the first time ever and in its first meeting with the Panthers since 2015 districts.

North Callaway (4-1) hosts Eastern Missouri Conference foe Louisiana (0-4) next week for Homecoming.

Centralia 38 Macon 14 in Macon

Centralia defeated Clarence Cannon Conference foe Macon (0-5) for the first time on Macon's field since 2016 districts.

Centralia (3-2) hosts conference foe Highland (0-4) for Homecoming next week.

8-Man Football: North Shelby 52 Paris 14 in Shelbyville

Paris lost to North Shelby (4-1), who received votes in the latest state poll, for the second straight season.

Paris (3-2) hosts Knox County (0-3) next week.
