Mexico 21 Fulton 14 in Mexico
Mexico (3-3) gained enough of an advantage over North Central Missouri Conference rival Fulton (0-6) in the second half after going into halftime tied at 7. Drew DeMint run for two touchdowns and had 82 rushing yards in the game, and Korbyn Dorsey ran for a score in the first half. Fulton made it a one-touchdown game with less than three minutes left in the game, but the Bulldogs recovered the inside kick to seal their 13th straight 54 Bowl game victory and a win on Military Appreciation Night.
Mexico hosts conference foe Kirksville (6-0) next week. The Tigers defeated Class 4 No. 4 Hannibal 16-15 tonight.
Class 2 No. 2 Bowling Green 52 Class 1 No. 5 Van-Far 6 in Vandalia
Van-Far's losing streak against Eastern Missouri Conference foe Bowling Green to decide the Wagon Wheel trophy continued on Friday night. The battle between state-ranked opponents saw Bowling Green (6-0) jump ahead by at least 24-0 before eventually wrapping up at least its 16th straight victory over Van-Far (5-1).
Van-Far plays at conference foe Wright City (4-2) next week.
North Callaway 38 Louisiana 14 in Kingdom City for Homecoming
North Callaway (5-1) won its Homecoming game and redeemed itself for a 31-14 loss at Eastern Missouri Conference foe Louisiana (0-6) last year. The Thunderbirds ran for 248 yards as a team.
North Callaway plays at conference foe Mark Twain (1-5) next week.
Centralia 80 Highland 26 in Centralia for Homecoming
Centralia (4-2) extended its winning streak to at least 12 games over Clarence Cannon Conference foe Highland (0-6), leading 52-6 at halftime in its Homecoming game.
Centralia plays at Class 2 No. 6 South Shelby (6-0) next week.
8-Man Football: Paris 60 Knox County 20 in Paris for Homecoming
Paris (4-2) led Central River League North Division foe Knox County (0-5) 30-14 at halftime and eventually scored 60 points for the third game this season to win on Homecoming. This is the Coyotes' first win over Knox County after losing to this opponent twice last year, including districts.
Paris plays at Southwest (Livingston County) with Hale, Tina-Avalon (0-5) next week.
