Boys soccer at Moberly Invitational

Softball

  • Mexico lost 8-7 to Webster Groves on walkoff and then led 9-2  in the fourth inning in Game 2 before being called early for player injuries. Brooke Teel 5-for-7 three RBI, five stolen bases and a triple, Maddy Feger four RBI and Hannah Loyd two-RBI home run
  • Community R-6 finished fifth in Cairo Tournament after losing 11-6 to Moberly in six innings, defeating New Bloomfield 6-3 and North Callaway 9-7 in eight innings. The Lady Trojans scored eight runs in the fifth inning or later in the victories.
  • Van-Far finished third in the North Shelby Tournament and won its first two games of season. The Lady Indians defeated Scotland County 12-6 in five innings, lost 15-0 in three innings to Paris and defeated Marion County 11-5 in five innings.  Kayla Heaton went 6-for-11 and scored four runs from the leadoff spot.
  • Paris won the North Shelby Tournament after defeating Bevier, Van-Far and Mark Twain
  • Centralia 5 Boonville 4 in Boonville. Kaelyn Walters solo home run and Madi Johnson RBI double give Lady Panthers enough cushion in seventh inning for victory. Walters pitched seven innings with nine hits, six strikeouts and one earned run, and Tilly Fox was 2-for-4 with a triple, double and two runs scored.

Girls tennis

Mexico takes first place at Osage Tournament, with Katie Gooch in single and Lucy Gleeson and Lani Blair in doubles earning medals

Cross country at Fulton Invitational

  • Mexico - Maggie Ramsey finished 14th for girls and Hunter Bickell was 18th for boys
  • North Callaway - Pressley Schmauch finished sixth for the girls
  • Missouri Military Academy - Rfred Cordero was 62nd
