Why are you running and why should people vote for you?
I am running for County Clerk because I believe public service should be about serving the people, being accessible, and doing the job with integrity. I want to bring my strong work ethic, dedication, and commitment to the citizens of Audrain County to this office. I believe everyone deserves to have an elected official who listens, works hard, and puts the needs of the community first.
What are your goals if elected?
If elected as Audrain County Clerk, my goal is to serve the citizens of Audrain County with honesty, integrity, and a strong work ethic. I want to ensure that the Clerk’s office is efficient, organized, and accessible to everyone.
One of my top priorities is providing excellent customer service. I believe every person who contacts or visits the County Clerk’s office deserves to be treated with respect and receive accurate, timely assistance. I also want to maintain transparency and accountability while ensuring that county records and election responsibilities are handled professionally and accurately.
Another important goal is to build strong working relationships with county officials, employees, and the communities throughout Audrain County. I believe that good communication and teamwork are essential to serving our residents effectively.
I am committed to continuing my education and staying informed on changes in laws, regulations, and best practices so that I can serve the people of Audrain County to the best of my ability.
Above all, my goal is to be a County Clerk that the people of Audrain County can trust—someone who is accessible, dependable, and dedicated to putting the needs of our citizens first. It would be an honor and privilege to serve the county that has always been home to me and my family.
What issues are most pressing for your constituency?
The people of Audrain County want local government that is accessible, accountable, and responsive to their needs. Throughout my conversations with residents across the county, I have found that people want elected officials who listen, communicate openly, and work hard to serve the public.
One of the most pressing issues is ensuring that county government operates efficiently and transparently. Citizens want to know that their tax dollars are being managed responsibly and that county offices provide reliable, professional service.
Another important concern is maintaining trust in our local government and election processes. Residents want confidence that their voices are heard and that public offices are operating with integrity and accountability.
I also believe that supporting our communities, families, and youth remains a priority throughout Audrain County. Strong communities are built when local leaders are engaged, accessible, and committed to improving the quality of life for all residents.
As someone who has spent my life serving my community, I understand the importance of being available, listening to concerns, and finding solutions. If elected as Audrain County Clerk, I will work every day to ensure that the Clerk’s office is efficient, transparent, and focused on serving the people of Audrain County with honesty, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
