Mexico will not let loose of the 54 road sign.

The Bulldogs defeated their North Central Missouri Conference rival Fulton for the 13th straight time on Friday with a 21-14 victory at Hawthorne Heights in Mexico. Drew DeMint ran for two touchdowns  in the second half after Mexico (3-3) was tied at 7 at halftime. DeMint finished with 82 rushing yards, and of the team's total 251 yards on the ground, 53 yards were from Peyton Hoover, 46 yards from Kaden Benne and 34 yards by Korbyn Dorsey along with a first-half touchdown. Fulton (0-6) cut its deficit to a one-possession game with three minutes left in the game on a touchdown run by quarterback Jaden Galbreath (127 yards on 11-for-20 passing) but couldn't recover an onside kick.

Mexico hosts Kirksville North Central Missouri Conference foe Kirksville (6-0), who knocked off Class 4 No. 4 Hannibal 16-15 last week, at 7 p.m. Friday.
