The Brick City Horseshoe Pitching Club had a sweeping victory at the NEMO Fair in Kirksville.
Ralph Throckmorton, Dan Hubbard and Charlie Maupin finished in first, second and third, respectively, in Class A during the July 18 event.
Jimmie Foreman gave the club another victory in a sanctioned tournament hosted by the club at Fairgrounds Park in Mexico on July 23. Foreman won Class C with a record of 3-1 and percentage of 25.63, followed by Quail Ridge’s Joe Santel (3-1, 23.75), Bowling Green’s Shaun Walker (3-1, 21.25), Quail Ridge’s Kevin Nenninger (1-3, 5.63) and Fulton’s John Adams (0-4, 9.38).
