The broken records flowed like water for the Mexico YMCA swimmers.
Several Marlins attended the Mid-Mo Conference Championships held July 9 in Fulton, breaking several records and winning multiple events.
Ronin Watson, Seth Stevenson, Chase Burle and Trey Burle broke the record in the mixed 11-13 200-meter freestyle relay with a time of 2:03.57, breaking the 2009 record of 2:06.30. They also broke the 2009 record of 2:25.29 in the mixed 11-13 200 medley relay with a time of 2:24.66.
Ronin Watson also placed second in the boys 13-14 50-meter freestyle, second in the boys 200-meter freestyle and fourth in the boys 100-meter freestyle.
Seth Stevenson also broke the 2010 record of 19.02 in the boys 9-10 25-meter breaststroke with a time of 18.71, placed first in the boys 9-10 25-meter freestyle and second in the boys 10 and under 100-meter individual medley.
Trey Burle broke the 2012 record of 1:16.20 in the boys 11-12 100-meter IM with a time of 1:16.09. He also received first place in the boys 11-12 50-meter backstroke and first in the boys 11-12 50-meter butterfly.
Chase Burle broke two records, including the 2001 boys 9-10 25-meter butterfly record of 16.94, with a time of 16.50, and the 2006 boys 10 and under 100-meter IM record of 1:24.71, with a time of 1:22.31. Chase also received first place in the boys 9-10 25-meter backstroke.
Cody Duff, Avery Sharpe, Aubrie Burle and Brooks Lamb placed second in the mixed 9-10 100 freestyle relay.
Cody Duff, Avery Sharpe, Aubrie Burle and Brooks Lamb also placed first in the mixed 9-10 100-meter medley relay.
Cody Duff also placed first in the boys 7-8 25-meter butterfly, second in the boys 7-8 25-meter backstroke and third in the boys 7-8 25-meter freestyle.
Avery Sharpe also placed second in the girls 10 and under 100-meter IM, second in the girls 9-10 25-meter breaststroke and fourth in the girls 9-10 25-meter freestyle.
Aubrie Burle also placed second in the girls 7-8 25-meter freestyle, first in the girls 7-8 25-meter butterfly and first in the girls 7-8 25-meter breaststroke.
Brooks Lamb also placed fifth in the boys 9-10 25-meter backstroke, eighth in the boys 9-10 25-meter freestyle and fourth in the boys 9-10 25-meter butterfly.
Sebastian Matuz, Gabe Marquette, Alexia Femrite and Austin Duff placed fourth in the mixed 14-18 200-meter freestyle relay.
Sebastian Matuz, Gabe Marquette, Austin Duff and Taylor Carr placed third in the mixed 14-18 200-meter medley relay.
Alexia Femrite, Samantha Stoldt, Zee Love and Rayne Harned placed second in the girls 14-18 200-meter medley relay.
Logan Sharpe placed first in the boys six & under 25-meter freestyle, first in the boys six & under 25-meter breaststroke and second in the boys six & under 25-meter backstroke.
Gabe Marquette placed 10th in the boys 11-12 100-meter IM, 10th in the boys 11-12 50-meter breaststroke and 14th in the boys 11-12 50-meter freestyle.
Austin Duff placed fifth in the boys 200-meter freestyle, sixth in the boys 11-12 100-meter IM and eighth in the 11-12 50-meter backstroke.
Sebastian Matuz placed fourth in the boys 11-12 50-meter breaststroke, fifth in the boys 11-12 100-meter IM and 10th in the boys 11-12 50-meter freestyle.
Alexia Femrite placed 10th in the girls 13-14 50-meter butterfly and 15th in the girls 13-14 50-meter freestyle.
Samantha Stoldt placed seventh in the girls 11-12 50-meter backstroke, seventh in the girls 11-12 50-meter freestyle and ninth in the girls 11-12 50-meter breaststroke.
Rayne Harned placed second in the girls 11-12 100-meter IM, second in the girls 11-12 50-meter freestyle and second in the girls 11-12 50-meter breaststroke.
Zee Love placed third in the girls 200-meter freestyle, fifth in the girls 13-14 50-meter freestyle and seventh in the girls 13-14 50-meter butterfly.
Taylor Carr placed sixth in the girls 15-18 50-meter backstroke, eighth in the girls 15-18 50-meter breaststroke and ninth in the girls 15-18 50-meter freestyle.
